Lily Hibberd
Lily Hibberd is a Melbourne-based visual artist and writer, practicing in performance, painting, photography, video and installation. She works in collaboration with communities and artists to tell old and new stories based on places, memories and histories.
Lily has exhibited widely in both Australia and France, with Bordertown, at Artspace Sydney (2008), Benevolent Asylum, at FAC (2011), and a solo exhibition, Seeking a Meridian, at Galerie de Roussan, Paris (2011). Her recent projects include: Twin Cinema: 4 Devils and a Women in Red for The Cinemas Project festival (2014), The Ice Pendulum at Paris Nuit Blanche festival (2013) and Les Aimants at Galarie de Roussan, Paris (2013).
Lily holds a PhD in Fine Art, is founding editor of un Magazine and lives and works between Australia and France.
